Another wave of musical acts announced for ‘Night and Day’

Night and Day has announced another wave of exciting musical acts to its line-up for this year’s festival. The festival, now entering its fourth year, takes place from 27-29 of June at Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle. After the success of this year’s event an extra stage has been added for 2025 with even more musical acts set to take to the Night and Day stage.

Sultans of Ping FC are set to shake the Queen Medb Stage with their high energy punk rock and irreverent anthems. The band behind the cult classics ‘Where’s Me Jumper’ and ‘Give Him a Ball (And a yard of grass)’ will play their only summer performance of 2025 at Night and Day.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Fionn Regan will take to the Queen Medb stage, flying high on the back of his newly released and critically album O Avalanche, to deliver one of his trademark intimate and powerful performances.

Other acts taking to the Queen Medb Stage are the beloved Irish alt-rock band Something Happens, folk-rockers Hermitage Green and 90s grunge-metal legends KerbDog who continue to bring their raw energy to audiences.

Acts taking to the Luna stage include; Jim Ghedi, Neosupervital, Hat Fitz & Cara, Death Milkshake, June Carousel as well as Boyle native Dotts O’Connor.

Acts previously announced to play Night and Day include; José González, KT Tunstall, The Wailers, The Stunning, Lisa Hannigan, Bog Bodies, Daithi, Joshua Burnside, Yard, Dark Isle, DUG, Frank, Skinner, Harvest (A Tribute to Neil Young), Shark School and James Keegan.

Festivalgoers can also explore the beautiful grounds and campsite at Lough Key Forest Park. Families will also be able to avail of the on-site activities such as zip-lining courses, forest trails and the tree-top walk.

Festival Director Brendan Hurley said: “We’re excited to be adding more great acts to our lineup for what is set to be the biggest Night and Day yet. Attendees can expect a diverse and dynamic lineup, showcasing talent from across the island as well as some global musical icons.”

“In addition to music, the festival will feature immersive art installations, interactive experiences, and a variety of food vendors offering delicious, locally sourced cuisine. The festival is designed to be a celebration of creativity and community, with something for everyone to enjoy. We’re extremely grateful for the continued support of Roscommon County Council, Coillte and all the team at Lough Key Forest Park,” he said.
