Lights switch on and Santa visit in Boyle on Saturday
Boyle is most certainly the place to be this Saturday evening as Santa is due to make a visit to the town at 4.30pm and the Christmas Lights will be officially switched on by soccer star James Bolger – FAI Cup Winner with Drogheda United.
Come along early and soak up the festive atmosphere on the Crescent, with hot chocolate provided by Boyle Scouts and live music by Amelie and Kate from Music Generation Roscommon.
Santa is due to arrive around 4.30pm with help from Boyle Fire Service.
There will be family entertainment, music and songs, sweet treats and more. Why not join in the fun and wear your Christmas hats and jumpers!
Let the festive season begin with an evening filled with festive cheer, fantastic performances and the bright lights of Boyle.
And stay around after to see the spectacle of the Ballinameen Truck and Tractor Run as the brightly lit up vehicles pass around the town at approximately 5.45pm.
Boyle Christmas Lights Committee would like to say a huge thank you to all who have donated so that Boyle can be lit up this Christmas. The GoFundMe page is still open and can be accessed here. Your support is really appreciated.
