Gardai are investigation a serious Road Traffic Collision that occurred on Bridge Street in Boyle approximately 3.15pm on Tuesday afternoon.
A car travelling from Green Street collided with another vehicle that was travelling on Bridge Street, close to Boyle Bridge.
The car contimue on and mounted the seating area at The Shambles before coming to a stop.
Emergency services including Boyle Fire Brigade, Gardai, Ambulance and two Advance Paramedic cars were quickly on the scene.
One man was removed by ambulance to Sligo University Hospital for what are being described as non life threatening injuries.
ESB personnel were also called as a cabinet close to Boyle bridge was damaged in the incident.
