Proud Boyle native and Hollywood actor Chris O’Dowd picked up his first Emmy award in the Hilton Hotel, New York for his hit comedy series Moone Boy which is mainly filmed here in his hometown of Boyle.
Chris was joined at the awards by his writing partner Nick Vincent Murphy
The series had strong competition from South Africa’s Late Nite News with Loyiso, France’s Workingirls and How to Enjoy the End of the World from Brazil.
