Final preparations for BMS ruby anniversary concert
Rehearsals are ongoing this week for Boyle Musical Society’s Ruby Anniversary Concert on Sunday and with a cast of over 60 taking part, it is being billed as “a night to remember”!
The concert, which celebrates 40 years of musicals in Boyle, will take place at 7pm on Sunday, May 26th in St. Joseph’s Church and it promises to be an enchanting evening of music, memories and much more.
Past and present members, including many familiar faces and special guests, will look back over the last four decades of shows with solo and group performances of well-known songs, along with a few surprises too. It has been ten years since BMS presented a concert like this and it promises to be one of the highlights of the entertainment calendar in Boyle this summer.
Tickets for the concert are available now from the Boyle Craft Shop at King House, Taylors Jewellers, on Bridge Street, Magee’s Fashion Shop on Main Street and Natural Options. Please note that all seats are unreserved.
Telephone bookings can be made on 071 966 3033 from 10am to 4pm daily.
Tickets will also be available at the door and don’t forget to bring cash for the monster draw with a €300 cast prize, sponsored by Nordson Medical and €100 vouchers from Marian’s, Mary Magee’s and Boles of Boyle.
