Roscommon Co Co issue statement on proposed modular homes
Roscommon County Council has responded to a requested statement from Boyletoday.com in relation to recent media speculation that a proposal for a number of modular homes to house Ukrainian refugees throughout the county, including Boyle, has been provided to Roscommon County Council.
The statement reads as follows:

They have been inviting expressions of interest from private providers for turnkey modular small scale residential developments, to include the provision of a site, modular homes and full operation and maintenance of the development.
The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth have asked for the input of Roscommon County Council on Expressions of Interest received from private service providers for modular offers in county Roscommon in the context of planning, building control and local support through the Community Forum.
The Expressions of Interest received by Roscommon County Council from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth relates to sites in the towns of Roscommon, Ballaghaderreen and Boyle.
