Boyle and Roscommon footballer Enda Smith quenched a 22 year drought on Friday evening when he won a coveted PwC GAA All Star Award at a gala ceremony in Dublin’s RDS.
A first All-Star for Roscommon in 22 years and well-deserved following a great year for the Connacht side.
Enda scored 2-12 but shone also as a creative force in a Rossies side that achieved some eye-catching results in 2023.
The last Roscommon win in the All Stars was Francie Grehan in 2001.
Everyone in Boyle sends best wishes to Enda – a gentleman on and off the pitch.
