A successful ‘Open Week’came to a successful conclusion at Boyle Golf Club on Friday. Despite the last scheduled competition being cancelled due to inclement weather a good crowd turned out for the presentation, prize draw, barbeque and music.
Captains Liam Whyte and Maura O’Farrell presented the winners with their prizes and paid special tribute to the Open Week Committee and to our generous sponsors. Many thanks to todays sponsors Grosvenor Services (represented on the night by Colin Garvin) for their sponsorship of all the food for the barbecue.
Winners of the prize draw were 1st Sean Heslin 700 euro, 2nd Paddy Nangle 200, 3rd Mickey Daly (Carrick) 100.
