Club Lotto
The Online Lotto was drawn on the 13th June for €9,200. The numbers drawn were 8, 23, 29, 30. The jackpot was not won and now stands at €9,300 for next week’s draw, the 20th of June at 9pm. We had 2 match 3 winner this week where Enda Smith and Marian McManemy sharing the €100 prize. Lotto tickets are only available online can be purchased on the Klub Funder website. Senior and Junior Club Fixtures
The Boyle Juniors started their league on Saturday the 12th playing St Ronan’s at home ending in defeat. Great to have games back and supporters at games again. Best for Boyle were Ben Kerins, David Callaghan and Seamus Kane. There was a minute’s silence held in respect of the passing our St Ronan’s player Ronan Healy.
Boyle Seniors will take on St Brigids in Kiltoom this Saturday evening in Kiltoom. Supporters, although restricted numbers, have now been allowed to go to matches.
Defibrillator conversation
The Denmark v Finland Game televised on RTE at the weekend has reignited the importance of the availability and knowledge on the Defibrillator. Christian Erikson who collapsed on the field of play was quickly revived and brought back from the brink.
The local Defib Map has been posted for our local area on Social Media and anyone who hasn’t seen it, please ask the question on your nearest one. Boyle GAA have one on the wall of the clubroom.
Boys Underage
All boys youths teams are ramping up their training as season starts soon. Notably the u17’s took to on two local rivals St Michaels and Western Gaels during the course of last week. Two worthy opponents and useful preparation ahead u17 summer campaign.
Ladies Club
The club was bustling with activity last week with three teams kicking off their league campaigns – U16 in Div 1, U14 in Div 1 and U12 in Div 2. Wishing all of our players and management the best for the much-anticipated season
Local Club Fundraiser
The Local club fundraiser has had a steady start to ticket sales and with numbers of tickets capped at 4000, they are moving. Sales are not only going county wide but going worldwide as well and support for the Boyle Celtic and Boyle Gaa has been immense. Hard copies are available as well as online tickets and can be bought from the website https://winacarandholiday.ie/ Really enjoying the community spirit in what is showing a town – a hometown.
