Royal building and site work to commence on Monday
In a statement issued to Boyletoday.com on Friday, “Roscommon County Council is delighted to announce that the refurbishment of the old Royal Hotel site in Boyle, funded under the Rural Regeneration Development Fund and Roscommon County Council, will commence next week (week commencing 10th May)”
“The project entails the complete refurbishment of the old hotel into an exhibition space and enterprise centre as well as the enhancement of the exterior to the building to include an outdoor civic space and river promenade”.
“The project is made possible through Ireland Project 2040 and will be a catalyst for future private and public investment into Boyle town as envisaged in the Boyle 2040 Framework. Roscommon County Council looks forward to realizing the project over the next 12 months with local stakeholders including Boyle Town Team and Boyle Chamber of Commerce”.
“The contractors are Elliott Properties Limited under the supervision of De Blacam and Meagher Architects.”
