Roscommon County Council advise that an unprecedented level of activity has been experienced at a number of the Council’s bring bank locations during the current Covid-19 emergency.
“We are asking people to bring their bottles and cans home if the banks are full and bring them back when the banks have been emptied”.
“Alternatively please deposit bottles and cans at a different bottle bank location. Bottle Bank locations in Co. Roscommon can be found at http://ow.ly/vHnO50Du9J9<
“Users are also being reminded that they should not leave bags, boxes or other containers at the bottle banks. This is an offence under the Litter Act and a fine in the amount of €150 applies”.
