Boyle singer and song writer Donal O’Connor’s “black n blue” album will be officially launched via an online FREE concert from The Dock Theatre this Friday evening January 29th at 8:00pm (and will be viewable for two days thereafter).
Having spent his working life as an Environmental Health Officer Donal O’ Connor has recently retired and lives with his wife in the shadows of the Curlew mountains outside Boyle.
Despite working fulltime he made space over the years to record three albums of original songs, tour the Folk Clubs of the UK & Germany and play USA, New Zealand, Australia and Spain.
According to a spokesperson for The Dock “We were very lucky that Donal agreed to come in to record a live concert with his band to mark the launch of his latest album Black n Blue and we are delighted to share it you for free over three nights”.
