Gardai from Boyle, while patrolling on Thursday in a remote area of Cloonfad beg, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Roscommon, observed a car acting suspiciously.
They stopped the vehicle and conducted a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A quantity of suspected Cocaine & Cannabis Herb were recovered with an estimated street value of €10,500.
A man in his late 30’s was arrested at the scene and detained at Castlerea Garda station.
A full and extensive search of the area was conducted with the assistance of a Customs Officer and their drugs dog.
The arrested man has since been released and the investigation is continuing.
