After days of rain, the sun finally came out for the 2019 Lough Key Triathlon on Sunday morning.
Over 400 athletes participated in the event which was part of the BMW National Series.
There was a strong Boyle involvement with most of the marshalling for the day provided by members of the local Athletic Club and Curlieu Wheelers Cycling Club.
First man home was Westport’s Aron Doherty in a time of 1.04.52
First female home was Erin McConnell in a time of 1.12.02
