Abbey Community College students projects were selected for Scifest at College regional finals, at Sligo IT recently.
Dillon Johnston’s entry focused on developing tasty and healthy food products using Beetroot and Kiefer as ingredients.
Nicole Reilly focused on understanding planetary orbits and using Mathematical models to explain them.
Both Nicole and Dillon developed engaging projects and represented ACC with distinction.
Indeed Nicole received a prize for the most engaging question posed at Science Foundation Ireland workshop.
Congrats to both Dillon and Nicole and their achievements and hopefully more projects will flow next year.
