Best wishes are extended to Boyle athlete Michelle Lannon from Lisserdrea who is a member of the Irish athletics team who will participate in the British & Irish Masters Cross-Country Championships in Swansea, Wales on Saturday.
A member of Carrick AC, Michelle is part of the four person ‘Women 45’ Irish team which also includes Jackie Carthy, Breda Gaffney and Emilia Dan.
Michelle, who is also a keen cyclist and active member of the Curlieu Wheelers cycling club, has also been nominated for an award in the 2018 Leitrim Sports Awards.
She received her nomination in the ‘Special Achievement Category’ for her selection in this weekend’s international event.
The awards will be held in the Landmark Hotel on Saturday November 24th
