Boyle Tidy Town committee would like to thank all those who turned out last evening for a river clean up.
Over 20 volunteers assembled at the former Roayl Hotel car park and broke into groups to clean the car park, river and surrouding area.
A gate and a bicycle were among the many items taken from the river along with a large amount of weeds and branches.
The walls of the river were also tidied up.
The clean up was conducted in advance of Boyle Arts Festival week.
