The new multi functional education facility at Harmony Farm outside Corrigenroe was opened recently by well known environmentalist Dick Warner.
The opening was attended by many friends, family of the owners and representatives from the media who enjoyed a pleasant, sunny day for a farm walk.
This year’s new arrivals: goat kids, lambs, ducklings and chicks were a great attraction, as well as the awakening nature and all the lovely spring flowers in the garden.
The farm will run a series of courses in the coming months on various subjects, such as introduction to running a smallholding, goat keeping and dairying, sheep keeping, foods that help fight cancer etc.
A special farm visit is offered for families.
