A 10k/6k run and walk will take place in Croghan village on Monday October 28th at 1pm.
The event is in aid of local man Alo O’Dowd’s volunteering trip in January 2020 to help the children of Mombasa in Kenya.
Registration is at 12 noon in the old Creamery.
Adults €10, children €5 and families €20.
All proceeds will go towards the construction of schools and housing for homeless children in Kenya.
This will be Alo’s fourth volunteering trip to Kenya.
There will be a raffle on the day and refreshments served after the walk/run.
