Well done to former Abbey Community College student Finley Daly who represented the Irish Universities in an athletics challenge in Scotland last weekend.
Finley, who is studying in NUIG, took part in the 5000m.
A progressive athlete, Finley is son of Padraig Daly and Christine Van Wellie and grandson of Paddy and Monica Daly.
The Irish Universities side took on the Scottish Universities at Grangemouth Stadium, Falkirk, Scotland.
The Irish University Athletics Association (IUAA) promotes and develops Irish Universities Athletics at National and International level.
