A Ballaghaderreen teenager has died in a tragic accident in Lanzarote.
Named locally as 19 year old Stephen O’Gara from Aughurine, the popular young man flew to the holiday resort with his family last Thursday.
It is understood the O’Gara family are well known through their involvement in the catering business in the Ballaghaderreen area.
The Department of Foreign Affairs are providing consular assistance to the family at this tragic time.
