Christmas lights switch on Saturday
Boyle Christmas Lights will be switched on this Saturday 2nd December at 5pm on the Crescent, Boyle.
Santa will arrive this year with the assistance of the Fire Brigade and in addition to switching on the town lights he will also light our two spectacular trees.
Our trees are located on the Crescent and Bank of Ireland, and both were generously donated to the Boyle Town Lights crew by Ardcarne Garden Centre.
Hot Chocolate will be provided by the Boyle Scouts, music by DJ Dermot and face painting by Transition Year Students of Abbey Community College (why not visit the Transition year Students’ stand at King House Christmas Markets on Friday 1st & Sat 2nd Dec).
Santa, after performing his duties with the aid of our Schools Competition Prize winners, will return to the Courthouse from 4.30pm
Children will have the opportunity to visit him there as a fundraiser for Boyle Model Railway.
Admission is €5 and Santa will have a gift for all children.
Don’t forget that the annual Christmas Outdoor and Indoor Craft Fair takes place in King House & Grounds on Friday 1st Dec 5pm to 9pm and again on Saturday 2nd Dec from 10am to 7pm where there will be an abundance of gifts, presents, decorations and home baked produce available along with live music.
