Boyle now has ten new Ambassadors following yesterday’s “Train the Ambassadors” tour of all the town has to offer.
The Ambassadors came from many businesses including restaurants, bed and breakfasts and Lough Key Forest and Activity Center.
They were greeted at the start of the tour by Brian Nerney Town Team Chairman and Patricia Golden, Una Bhan and a member of the Town Team.
The day was organised by Una Bhan Tourism on behalf of the Town Team.
The group used the Local Link bus to travel to Lough Key, visit King house, Boyle Abbey and have a tour of the town.
The idea behind “Train the Ambasador” is to arm our frnt line people who meet tourists to Boyle in all there is available in the town.
Following on from the success of yesterday’s event it is hoped to organise another evening to showcase the restaurant, bar and entertainment scene in Boyle.
