Tawnytaskin Community Centre are organising what promises to be a fun day out for all the family. Come along to the centre from 2.00 pm on Sunday 6th April where registration will be open for our first Car Treasure Hunt.
The Treasure Hunt is the brainchild of our Treasurer Michael Sweeney, well known in motorsport circles and brings his expertise to the running of the event.
Competitors will have ample time to suss out the clues over the 30 kilometre course along some of the most pleasant and scenic roads in our locality. The deadline for return to the Centre is 5.00 pm where pending the announcement of the results competitors may avail of light refreshments.
Presentation of prizes is scheduled for 5.30 pm.
Entry fee is a modest €20 per car but it must be emphasised that this is not a race and prizes will be awarded strictly on the basis of correct answers to the clues provided to competitors.
