House prices in county Roscommon rose by an average of 9% so far this year, according to the latest House Price Report released by property website, Daft.ie.
The average asking price for a house in Roscommon is now €145,652 – up 58.9% from it’s lowest point.
In Leitrim prices have risen year on year by 10.9%, Sligo by 7.2% and in Mayo by 7.4%
According to the report, the national average price of a house in Ireland is €261,000, an increase of 5.9% on the figure for the same period last year.
In Dublin the average house price is now €383,000, an increase of 4% year on year.
