The death has occurred of John Joe Nerney, former All Ireland winner GAA, Mockmoyne, Boyle.

Predeceased by his wife Agnes (nee Lane)
Devoted and much loved father of Mary, Gerry, Anthony, Raymond and Teresa, grandchildren Cheryl, Michelle, Alan, sons in law Michael and Seamus, Gerry’s late partner Ann Gallagher, relatives and a large circle of friends. R.I.P.
Reposing at the Oratory, Abbey Haven Care Centre and Nursing Home, Boyle on Friday from 5pm until 7.30pm arriving at St. Joseph’s Church for 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial in Assylinn Cemetery,
