Curlieu Wheelers cyclist Carmel Regan just missed out on first place in round three of the Sligo Summer Cycling League on Wednesday evening last.
Another club member, Jacqueline O’Connor also took part as did Boyle men Conor Nerney (5th) and Paul Byrne who now race with the Eire Og club in Sligo.
This weekend Curlieu Wheelers members will take part in the Innisfree Wheelers Three County Tour on Saturday.
A number of Boyle cyclists plan to cycle to Sligo and take part in the event making a round trip of 170km.
They will leave the Crescent at 7am.
For those who will drive to Sligo, registration is from 9am with the event commencing at 10am.
Sunday’s club spin will depart the Crescent at 8am.
