There has been some good news for Roscommon Safe Link this afternoon.
It is understood that the services will be maintained at the Boyle based organisation that provides assistance to women who have experienced domestic violence and abusive situations.
Earlier this week, Safe Link received a letter from the Child and Family Agency Tusla, confirming that funding would cease from July 2015.
The news that services will be maintained has been welcomed by Deputy Frank Feighan.
