Over 400 people are expected to take part in the Darkness into Light events throughout the county on Saturday morning May 9th.
Raising funds for Pieta House and suicide prevention, the Roscommon events take place in Roscommon town and Ballaghaderreen.
They get underway at 4.15am when participants can walk or run a 5k route.
The Roscommon town walk will begin and finish at the Convent Gym while in Ballaghaderreen the event will start and finish at St. Nathy’s College Sports Hall.
Over 100,000 people are expected to take part in the iniative nationwide.
