Family and friends of Boyle man Paul Young will wait anxiously for the 87th Academy Awards ceremony.
Song of the Sea which was produced by Paul’s company Cartoon Saloon is in the running for Best Animated Feature at the glitzy awards.
The film will go head to head on the night with Big Hero 6, The Boxtrolls, How To Train Your Dragon 2 and The Tale of Princess Kaguya.
Paul is son of Sean and Ann Young, Carrick Road who are also well known in the town of Boyle.
