A fundraising night for Special Olympics Connacht will take place in Daly’s on Saturday February 28th.
The night is the idea of Boyle woman Margaret Hayden who will undertake the 5 Peaks Challenge in aid of Special Olympics.
Margaret hopes to climb the 5 Peaks – thats 10,500 feet in 36 hours on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th May.
The Peaks involved are Truskmore, Ben Bulben, Nephin, Diamond & Croagh Patrick.
All funds raised go directly to Special Olympics Connaught which provides year round sports training & competition for over 1,400 adults & children with intellectual disabilities in Connaught.
