Six new jobs are in the pipeline for Strokestown.
A new business “Nour Foods” will soon commence operations from a new base on the outskirts of the town.
The company works with local farmers and butchers in the supply of raw materials and the collection of organic skins for sausages.
These are subsequently exported all over Europe.
The company, which is owned by Bakri Cherbatjt and his son Mohammed, already has a base in Ballyhaunis.
