The Online Lotto was drawn on the 22nd of May , 2022 for €14,000. The numbers drawn were 1 , 21 ,23 & 27. We had 2 match winners with Brian Furey and Mick Tormey sharing €100. Match Results
– The McGovern Civils Senior Men had a great win over Padraig Pearses at home on Saturday evening. The final score was 3-11 t o 0.15
-The Well and M Kerins sponsored Intermediate Ladies battled hard in the Division 2 League Final on Sunday but unfortunately, they were defeated on a score line of 3.16 – 2.10. The final goal for St Brigid’s came at an opportune time towards the end of the game and sealed the finish for them.
– U15 Boys drew versus St Aidans in the League
– U14 Camogie we’re defeated by Oran
– U12 Girls had a strong performance versus Padraig Pearses in Div 1 of the League, in the end Pearses won by 1pt
– U11 Boys had a brilliant win over St Michaels/St Ronans
Rise & Shine Superstars
Our Nursery programme continued this week, May 23th – running for 8 weeks, from 5:45pm – 6:30pm. We had a wonderful turn out again on a sunny evening week. 60+ kids turned out and had a ball. Thanks to all the coaches and parents for your huge efforts.
O’Rourke Cup
The McGovern Civils Senior Mens team defeated Padraig Pearses in the League on Saturday evening on a score line of 3.11 to 15 points. It was a fine game with a very good standard of positive football. Best for Boyle Daire Cregg, Tadgh Mckenna and Oisin Cregg. Boyle now play St Brigids at home the following weekend. Thanks to all the grounds staff on having the pitch looking superb and also thanks to our Robot lawn mower for working through the night cutting the pitch.
Connacht Final Tickets now on sale
Tickets are now available for the Connacht final in SuperValu & Centra as well as online. Salthill beckons in less than a weeks’ time where our 3 reps in Cian, Donie and Enda, will be hoping for more of the same on Galway soil in the final.
Boyle Celtic Champions
Hearty congrats to Boyle Celtic on their RDFL League title victory at the Weekend beating Ballymoe. Its massive for the town and parish to have all their hard work paid off and see it bearing fruit. Well done men. Now that you have a bit of a void for the summer, we welcome anyone interested to come up the road to us!!
