A new event on the local cycling calendar takes place this Sunday.
The inaugural “5 Lake Challenge” cycle will depart from the Crescent in Boyle at 9am on Sunday morning.
This Curlieu Wheelers members only event has three distances to suit all cyclists affiliated to the club.
60k/100k and 145k cyclists will depart together and remain with each other for the first few kilometers before heading off on their chosen route.
All routes circumnavigate 5 local lakes.
If the weather is promised unfavourable for the event, a decision will be made Saturday and posted on line and through whats app to members.
