The latest worldwide craze – Pokemon GO is attracting interest around Boyle where a number of Pokestops and Pokemon Gym’s are located.
Pokemon GO is a new free to play location based reality game developed for mobile devices.
Making use of GPS and the camera of compatible devices, the game allows players to capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokemon, who appear on device screens as though in the real world.
Here in Boyle, participants will find locations in Lough Key Forest Park and at numerous points throughout the town.
The game was released on July 6th and has taken the world by storm.
